Photoshoot

Kelsey Eliot will be here on 12/3/22 to do unmounted silhouette portrait photos of our students and their favorite horses. She has a particular talent for understanding how horses and humans work together and somehow magically taking a picture where both the horse AND the human look good at the same time!




COST: $75.00
*Must be prepaid to hold your spot.


INCLUDES: 30 minutes prep and grooming time with your horse, 30 minute photoshoot, digital copies of all of the edited photos from your photoshoot, a barn staff assistant


Photoshoot slots available:
** start time does not include any prep. You must arrive at least 30-45 minutes or more ahead of your start time to prepare.


Photoshoots will happen rain or shine. The cloudier and drearier the weather, ironically the more stunning the portraits. Let's pray for snow!! Be sure to wear a hat if it is rainy, as it looks better than wet hair.


Prepare for your photo session:

Solid colors tend to be better; avoid black for this particular shoot

Up to four people per session, extra humans $10

Portrait session only. Riding shoot will be scheduled for a later date though!

Feel free to bring your own props (hats, garland, crowns, capes, Santa themed items, etc…)

All riders under 18 MUST WEAR A HELMET if they are mounted. No helmet required for unmounted photos. We don't care if it's a photoshoot, obey the law.


Use of Painted Bar Horse Requirements: to use a Painted Bar Stables horse you must be a current student or have been a student at Painted Bar Stables within the last year.


BYO Horse Requirements: Must provide proof of current Coggin's and Rabies. With the BYO horse discount, no intern assistant will be provided.
